For example, number 10 glass has a higher light transmission than number 13 glass. The choice of the appropriate level of darkening depends on the type of welding, the intensity of the light and personal preferences. Welding glass is used in welding to protect the eyes and face from the hazards caused by the intense light rays and sparks produced during the welding process.
