A polyurethane foam gun is a tool used to apply polyurethane foam accurately and evenly from a can. Polyurethane foam is a popular material for sealing, insulating and fixing various building components as it spreads and cures quickly after application. The use of a gun allows better and more uniform application and consumption of the foam. Most guns have a flow control setting which allows control over the amount of foam applied. By adjusting the settings, different foam layer thicknesses can be achieved. After use, the gun should be thoroughly cleaned to prevent clogging and to ensure that the gun is ready for the next use.
