ELECTRONIC WELDING HELMET
General description
In cardboard box, red, POPAR.
A welding helmet, also known as a welding mask or an auto-dimming mask, is an item of safety equipment used by welders to protect their eyes and face during the welding process. The main function of a welding helmet is to provide the welder with protection from the strong light produced during welding, which can cause eye damage and blindness. Most welding helmets are equipped with sensors that detect the arc light when welding. Based on this information, the helmet automatically darkens to protect the welder's eyes. After the welding process, the helmet gradually lightens again, allowing the welder to inspect his work without removing the helmet. Welding filter size: 133×114×9mm. Welding filter dimming rate 1/30,000s. The filter allows for realistic colours. Operating range from -10 to 60°C. Blackout regulation on the outside of the mask. 4 light sensors. Degree of darkening: DIN 4 / 5 - 8 (grinding and soldering) and DIN 9 - 13 (welding). Mask weight 590 g. Warranty 2 years.
